Brian Faulkner has won five regional Emmy awards for his work writing and narrating Our State video segments for North Carolina Public Television. I used him to help make my book easier to understand and more accessible to a broader audience. In the process, Brian learned about concepts and terms in the spirituality genre. He has audio and video editing skills as well, if needed. Brian is very pleasant and easy to work with.

EasyBib is a tool that automates the bibliography development process. To create a bibliographic reference, type in the title of the book you want to cite, pick your book from the search results list, and EasyBib will create the citation in the style that you need. If you purchase a subscription, you gain access to other tools, as well as the ability to create and store entire bibliographies. I used EasyBib to create the bibliography for my books, and it saved me countless hours and stress in the process.

Grammarly is a bit pricy but well worth the investment in time and editing. It can be distracting as you write, but it helps me think about what I am trying to convey. I am the queen of passive sentences so while aggravating, the alerts have helped me identify places where the writing can be made clearer. I use it for all written work and communications.

Canva is an awesome design platform with a low monthly cost. It is very little you cannot design with Canva. It is easy to learn with tools that make designing all sorts of things a cinch. Book covers, graphics, and page layouts can all be easily done.

Low cost, easy to use software that helps put a book together for KDP. This software is for creating a nice book with no frills. They also have templates that can be incorporated and they support Canva so you can design the cover of your book and upload it.

Divi is a WordPress theme. Right out of the box, the website looks good. It is easily customized, so achieving a unique look doesn't take a tremendous amount of skill. They have hundreds of templates, many free or affordable for specific looks and layouts. Plugins work well, too so you can do a lot and never have to code a thing.

They have wonderful help available through chat. There user interface is easy to navigate and they have transparent pricing.

They are a custom book publisher that has published four printed books and eBooks for me, using Adobe InDesign. They have been sufficiently "broken in" to working with metaphysical authors.
