What if I miss the workshop?
The session will be recorded and available for viewing. As long as you submit the 500 word sample and the 1500 word draft essay, you will receive feedback and your essay is still eligible for potential inclusion in the anthology.
What is the refund policy?
Unfortunately, we cannot offer a refund. However, the workshop will be recorded and available for viewing at your convenience until August 13, 2023.
What if I don't turn in the writing sample?
The writing sample will help design the workshop to meet your needs. If you don’t submit the sample, then your specific concerns may not be addressed.
What if I don't turn in the 1500 word essay?
Unfortunately, you will not receive feedback. The essay may still be included in the Anthology if it is accepted for publication.
What are the benefits of having the essay included in the Anthology?
You will have published work, and your bio will be included in the Anthology, which may help with future promotional activities.
What are the guidelines to have the essay accepted into the Anthology?
Final 2000-word max Anthology submissions should be sent to contact@metaphor.ink .
Submission Guidelines
- Making a submission assures that it will be considered for inclusion in the Anthology but does not guarantee its acceptance.
- Submitters are responsible for obtaining all permissions for the use of copyrighted materials in their Anthology submission.
- Submitters will retain copyright ownership to their Anthology submission but metaphor.ink will have an unlimited right to publish it in perpetuity without compensation to the author.
- Submitters agree to not send their submitted work to other publishers while it is being considered for inclusion in the Anthology.
- Submitters understand that their submitted work will be edited if it is accepted for inclusion in the Anthology.
- Metaphor.ink’s Anthology and all anthology submissions will conform with the Consciousness Cafe’s Open Spirituality Guidelines.
- The Anthology will be limited to fifteen submissions.
- The Anthology will be published as an eBook on Amazon Kindle.
