Ayahuasca with Carlos Tanner

Carlos Tanner is an American who has been studying the science of plant spirit healing in the Amazon Rainforest since 2003. He currently works as the director of the Ayahuasca Foundation, organizing healing retreats and educational courses with authentic indigenous healers, called curanderos, to help people who are in need of healing anything from depression to cancer or who are interested in learning the healing traditions of the Shipibo people.

In 2017 he opened the Riosbo Ayahuasca Research Center which currently hosts the first and only government-funded ayahuasca research in the world. Medical studies on ayahuasca and plant medicine investigate the treatment of depression, anxiety, and childhood trauma.  His personal perspective is very consciousness-centric and he continues to develop a language that bridges the ancestral paradigm with the modern world.
