Marketing Your Book Through Podcasting with Kathy McDaniel

Writing your book is only part of the experience – the other part, which is a challenge for most writers, is marketing it once it has been published. In this meeting, we will show you how to use podcasting to promote your book. Over the past two and a half years, author Kathy McDaniel has been a guest on approximately 90 podcasts and radio programs. She earlier spoke at a Consciousness Cafe meeting about the near-death experience that led to the writing of her book, Misfit in Hell to Heaven Expat, but in this meeting, she will talk about how she used podcasting to promote it – and how you can take advantage of it too!

About Kathy

While dying from lung failure in 1999, M.K. (Kathy) McDaniel was placed on a ventilator
and into a drug-induced coma. A Disturbing Near-Death Experience occurred and,
although mostly traumatic, the overwhelming bliss of Heaven she experienced shifted
her religious beliefs to a deep spirituality. Kathy credits the members of IANDS
(International Assn. for Near-Death Studies) for her eventual integration of the
Disturbing NDE, and the ability to accept the sacred mission that caused her reluctant
return to Earth. She now shares her experience, and its messages, as a guest on
various media, and via her memoir, MISFIT IN HELL TO HEAVEN EXPAT.
