Charlotte Writers Podcast

In this presentation, we will explore resources and services that local writing groups can offer
metaphor.ink writers – as well as converse with two award-winning authors! We will speak with
Sarah Archer and Landis Wade, hosts of the Charlotte Readers Podcast. They have produced
over 300 podcast episodes that “enable authors to give voice to their written words” through
interviews, craft and marketing discussions, and book recommendations. They have also just
published the first of eight books in The Write Quotes series, which, through quotes from 500
author podcast interviews, provides practical advice, inspiration, and entertaining anecdotes to
help authors craft compelling characters, choose a publishing path, and persevere through
rejection.

The Charlotte Readers Podcast’s Linktree provides quick access to podcast episodes, books, and
other offerings. Its website also links viewers to supporting organizations, such as the Charlotte
Writers Club, a 100-year-old association that provides speaker nights, critique groups, contests,
workshops, and open mics for its members, and the NC Writers Network, which connects,
promotes and serves writers in the state of North Carolina.
